About Us
Darren Cahill was born into a Hotrodding family with his father Rod Cahill having been a rodder since the Early 1960’s, Rod remains a life member of Rods Inc in Brisbane.Attending such iconic runs as numerous ASRF Nationals, Valla Park, Yamba, North Coast, and Narrandera have ensured the passion remains alive and well. A Passion that is now also engrained in his own family with wife Deb and adult kids - Lauren, Mason and Sean. This passion and continual good feedback on past builds ultimately led to the decision to start Cahill’s Speed Shop as a full time enterprise in 2015.

So why do we have 2 logos?
Great question! The original logo is the windscreen shaped one, used on Tshirts, hoodies and some of our caps.We call the round logo our 'Race Logo', this was first used on Mason's Hemi23 Roadster when he participated in the first Rattletrap at Crowdy Head, NSW.and really, we just like both of them, so they've stuck..
With the sale of Mason's T Roadster in early 2018, Darren, Mason and Rod decided they needed a new toy and have some fun in the mud at Mudrun 2018 and then at the Nostalgia Drags. The Executioner is so named in tribute to the original Executioner (Holden FX) owned and operated by Rod Cahill some years ago.The XK has had some 'weight reduction' and sports two race seats with full 5 point harnesses, roll cage, yellow tinted perspex windows and runs a tidy, carburetted 350 Chev.
