28 Ford Roadster
It's now been several years since we owned our own hotrod. Yes, we've got other options in the stable but there's nothing like jumping in the hotrod and heading out for a cruise. At Valla Rod run in 2018, after a few quiet beverages, we saw a chassis on Facebook for sale... pinched 32 rails for a 28... then a roadster body came up for sale, and the rest is history...
Built in 4 months as a side job to the workshop schedule, this A model on 32 rails has turned some heads in the first few months of life. Fresh from the registration inspection at Shed 27, the Roadster perched up in front of our Workshop graffiti wall and posed for Dale Haberfield from Millbrook Studios and subsequently featured in Cruzin Magazine.
Darren has done all the fabrication, chassis and wiring in this Brookville bodied A Model while Deb sewed up the interior inbetween her day jobs. All in all, really happy with how it turned out.
